Repligen Corporation opened a new office and manufacturing building in Jüri Tehnopark
US biotechnology flagship Repligen Corporation (NASDAQ:RGEN) has opened a new €12 million office and manufacturing building in Jüri Tehnopark, which will also serve as a service centre for European and Asian markets. This important step confirms the company’s commitment to the development and manufacture of biotechnology process equipment.
The new building provides modern conditions for assembly operation, equipment testing, warehouse operations, office work, research and development, and laboratory work. Equipment designed and produced in Estonia is used by biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to produce critical medicines around the world, including in the US, Europe, and Asia.
The construction of the more than 7,500 square metre building required an investment of €12 million and will provide work for around 200 people.
The designer and main contractor of the construction was the construction company Rand & Tuulberg AS and the project was managed by Joonas Matteus. The architect of the building was Kati Haki (Rovin OÜ) and the interior was designed by AERIS.
