Confido Medical Centre

The Veerenni Confido Health Centre is one of the most modern Class A buildings, built with the high-tech requirements of the medical sector in mind. The house was designed on the principle of a tailor’s suit. Behind the uniform façades are different floor plans, none of them repetitive. The architectural solution of the building is based on a novel concept of salutogenic architecture, which is the first time it is applied in Estonian medical buildings. Elsewhere in the world, the salutogenic concept has given rise to new patient-centred hospital architecture (hotel-like hospitals, home-like wards, etc.) based on the principle of a mentally supportive environment.
